We have a garden! How does your garden grow? I don’t know about you but I would see pics of these beautiful dreamy gardens I would think I would love to have one of those? Insert a little picket fence, greenhouse, and a chicken coop with 6 chickens in tow and that’s what we have.

After a few attempts of planting in the ground we realized that raised beds are the way to go for us. We just do better with them in other words we’re able to keep things alive that way. Lol.
When I pictured it I figured my favorite part was going to be the little picket fence around the garden but when the Hubs traded work with a friend for this beautiful greenhouse (see how it came together here) it instantly became the best part of the garden and I knew that it should definitely be in the center.
Wrap a chicken run around it because of course every chicken coop needs a run and that’s how we ended up with these cuties….
Are you wondering where the raised beds are? We built 3 raised beds out of cedar and placed them around the garden adding in a few of these large used grain tubs which my dad gave us. They are perfect for the more invasive plants like mint, lavender, bush beans, and tomatoes.
But, one of the coolest things we added to the garden has to be these ollas from Growoya. I don’t know about you but I admit I’m bad about staying on top of watering the garden on time. So, when I came across an article on what they were and how beneficial they are I ordered three. These little things are lifesavers and beautiful to look at! Our beds are 3x5x2 and a large olla was perfect for it. They also sell small and medium. You can look on their site and they tell you how to figure out which size you need. Definitely worth a look!
The cherry on top came in the form of a fountain which a friend didn’t want anymore and gave to us! As you walk around in the garden you can hear the constant trickling of the calming water. Perfect finish to our garden.
When I walk around our garden in the mornings I love how calm we have made it seeing all the flowers and vegetables in our garden grow. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment.
